Rozelle Blackie, Roz

Roz started travelling at a young age through music. This broadened her horizons and instilled in her not only independence but also a fierce will to always seek more from life. She finished Law school in Pretoria, Pupillage in Johannesburg and is still a Practicing Advocate of the High Court of South Africa. After many years in the music industry and Private Law Practice, she immersed herself in the Commercial side of Law as well through getting involved in Luxury Aviation Travel in Africa with Golf being the focus point. She co-founded Golf Air with Alwyn, and having traveled all over the United States, Europe and Africa, Roz stands firm in her belief that business creates opportunities when operated in a just and fair manner based on meritocracy as she has seen this principal in action.

Roz has a heart for people and believes in giving every person a fair chance. Combining this with a great love for South Africa, its Cuisine, Conservation and Community, she knows that working and travelling with Golf Air aids in not only the protection of wildlife, but in strengthening communities throughout Southern Africa via various incentives offered by Golf Air. Even though she loves visiting new destinations, her heart remains in South Africa. She is deeply grateful to have founded this business with Alwyn. Golf Air is a Company by Grace, a Custodian of the Soil and she is deeply passionate about every journey, detail and guest of Golf Air.

Alwyn Vorster, Al

Alwyn has lived and traveled all over the world through music and golf. After finishing his studies in Music in Pretoria, he lived in Honk Kong, Morocco, the UAE as well as the United States whilst enjoying a career as a musician. Alwyn developed a keen interest in golf and with his natural love and talent for all sports, he joined the PGA of South Africa where he currently is a Class AA PGA Professional. Al enjoyed a lucrative career as Head Golf Professional and Head of Golf Marketing USA for Rovos Rail but because of his drive and ever-increasing interests, he became a Commercial Pilot in 2014. Through merging his love for Aviation and Tourism, he co-founded Golf Air with Roz where he is focused on Marketing and Operations.

As a deeply principled individual who believes in people and paying it forward, Al loves seeing potential develop and has not only inspired but also invested in many, and has seen the fruit of consistency being a key factor throughout his career. Even though Al loves travelling the world and experiencing new cultures, golf courses and food, he loves living in Cape Town and firmly believes that we are custodians of Wildlife and therefore have a responsibility to take care of what has been given to us by Grace. Regardless of his various roles, Al is the first person to crack joke with his calm demeanour, being the ever-welcoming face of Golf Air.
